Description For Data Engineer, Senior Manager, Enterprise Data and Analytics

Extreme Networks, a global leader in cloud-driven networking solutions serving over 50,000 customers, is seeking a Data Engineer, Senior Manager for their Enterprise Data and Analytics team. This role is part of the "Expand" (Extreme Process Analytics and Data Governance) team, focusing on developing crucial data infrastructure and analytics solutions.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a company recognized in Computerworld's 2023 List of Best Places to Work in IT. As a remote role reporting to the Data Architect of the Analytics pillar, you'll be instrumental in developing data flows, ETL/ELT pipelines, data marts, and analytics solutions supporting the global enterprise data & analytics platform.

Key responsibilities include developing analytical data models, implementing end-to-end analytics solutions using modern technical stacks (Snowflake, DBT, Fivetran, Informatica, Tableau), and partnering with stakeholders across the business to understand data rules and business logic. You'll primarily support Sales, Sales Ops, and Marketing teams while working with various business functions.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of hands-on experience in BI and data engineering, with deep expertise in data warehousing concepts, SQL development, and modern data tools. You should be highly self-motivated, capable of working independently and in team settings, and skilled at communicating complex technical ideas to diverse stakeholders.
