Description For Software Engineer - Hybrid 3 days - 1 On-call Rotational Week / Every 7th week

FactSet is seeking a detail-oriented Software Engineer to join their Client Data Infrastructure team, specifically working on the Client Data Storage team. This role is critical in maintaining and developing low-level systems that handle mission-critical files and documents for FactSet's extensive client base.

The position focuses on two key systems: the Client Relational Data Service (CRDS) and Application User Data Service (AUDS), which are tier-0 infrastructure components processing over 100 million requests daily. As part of a small, highly skilled team, you'll have the opportunity to make significant impacts across FactSet's product ecosystem while ensuring system stability and performance.

The role primarily involves C# development, with potential work in C++, SQL, and various scripting languages. You'll be responsible for developing and deploying system enhancements, participating in on-call rotations, and contributing to technical design discussions that shape FactSet's future client data architecture.

This hybrid position requires 3-5 years of software development experience, strong object-oriented programming skills, and expertise in C# or C++. SQL Server experience and cloud development knowledge are essential. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong analytical and design skills, with experience in critical, low-level infrastructure being particularly valuable.

FactSet offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 – $135,000 for this position in Connecticut and New York. As a member of the S&P 500, FactSet serves over 200,000 investment professionals worldwide, providing essential financial data and analytics through their digital platform and enterprise solutions.
