Job Description

Fidelity Investments is seeking a Senior Quantitative Developer to join their Asset Management Technology (AMT) team within the Quantitative Research & Investing Technology group. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and financial services, developing sophisticated solutions for investment management.

The position involves building and maintaining enterprise-scale software systems that support investment management, research, trading, and operations functions. You'll be working with cutting-edge technologies including Python, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes to create robust, scalable solutions. The role requires both technical expertise and financial domain knowledge, particularly in areas such as risk management, valuations, and investment operations.

As a Senior Quantitative Developer, you'll be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to production support. You'll collaborate with distributed teams across the organization, contributing to technical direction and solution design. Requirements For Senior Quantitative Developer

  • Domain knowledge in equities, fixed income or alternative asset classes
  • Experience with advanced quantitative techniques and statistics

  • Experience with API Management and domain modeling
  • Experience with CI/CD infrastructure
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and test-driven development
