Fiserv, a global leader in Fintech and payments, is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join their Core Application team. This role focuses on leading the design and development of the Finxact Core as a Service platform, creating and enhancing software solutions for banks and financial institutions. The position requires 6+ years of experience in financial software development, with expertise in RESTful services, Swagger, JSON, and GIT. The ideal candidate will have experience with Golang, cloud-based SaaS development, and containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
The role involves collaborating with business analysts, engineers, and system users to implement application requirements, provide technical leadership to other developers, and ensure high-quality software delivery. Responsibilities For Senior Software Developer - Core Application / Banking Software, RESTful, Swagger, JSON, and GIT Exp. Preferred
- Work with business analysts, engineers, and system users to understand and implement application requirements
- Collaborate with partners to understand their implementations and gain knowledge in cloud-based SaaS technologies
- Develop new software and enhance existing applications to improve system quality and test coverage
- Provide leadership to other developers, assisting them in designing solutions and understanding best practices
- Ensure on-time delivery of project deliverables under tight deadlines
- Analyze and interpret data, discussing both business and technical topics
Requirements For Senior Software Developer - Core Application / Banking Software, RESTful, Swagger, JSON, and GIT Exp. Preferred
- 6+ years of experience in software application design and development in the financial industry
- 6+ years of experience with RESTful services, Swagger, JSON data interchange, and GIT
- 6+ years of experience leading development teams and providing technical guidance
- 6+ years of experience in analyzing and interpreting data for business and technical discussions
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent military experience
