Staff Software Engineer - Destinations

We're seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our Destinations team in Novi Sad, Serbia. This role is critical to Fivetran's long-term growth, focusing on building next-generation transformation and scheduling solutions.

The position offers a hybrid work model with two days in-office, combining remote flexibility with in-person collaboration. You'll work with technologies including Java, Postgres, GCP, SQL, BigQuery, and Bazel, contributing to a backend system that powers thousands of companies' data infrastructure.

As a Staff Engineer, you'll lead the design and development of critical features, manage complex projects, and collaborate across teams to deliver innovative solutions. The role requires deep expertise in object-oriented programming, system design, and cloud platforms, with a focus on building high-performance, scalable systems.
