Forter is seeking a Senior ML Engineer to join their ML Platform team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for experienced data engineers looking to enter the world of ML or for those with ML experience seeking a ML-focused product. The position involves designing, building, and maintaining ML infrastructure that enables Forter's models to make billions of real-time decisions annually. Key responsibilities include developing a platform for managing the full ML model lifecycle, building distributed data processing pipelines, and expanding ML infrastructure for scalability and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience with large-scale data processing (preferably with Apache Spark), 5+ years developing complex software projects, and experience with machine learning concepts and frameworks. The role requires strong backend and server-side development skills, experience with public clouds, and fluency in English. Responsibilities For Senior ML Engineer, ML Platform
- Design, build, and maintain ML infrastructure for real-time decision-making
- Build a platform for managing full ML model lifecycle
- Develop distributed data processing pipelines to support model development
- Consult with researchers, data scientists, and analysts to enable faster model research
- Expand ML infrastructure for scalability and efficiency
- Work with internal customers to understand their ML needs
- Advocate for MLOps and improve processes
Requirements For Senior ML Engineer, ML Platform
- 4+ years experience with large-scale data processing, ideally with Apache Spark
- 5+ years developing complex software projects with at least one general-purpose language (preferably Python)
- Backend and server-side development experience of complex, highly scalable systems
- Experience with machine learning concepts and frameworks
- Experience working with public clouds (AWS / GCP / Azure)
- Fluent in written and spoken English
