GE Vernova is seeking a Lead I&C (Instrumentation & Controls) Embedded Software Engineer to join their I&C Engineering team within the GE Hitachi (GEH) Engineering organization. This role is critical in designing and implementing I&C electronic hardware and software systems for Nuclear Power Plants.

The position offers a competitive base salary range of $86,000 - $112,000, with additional benefits including performance bonuses and equity opportunities. As a Lead I&C Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering software, working closely with electronic hardware design and plant system operations teams. Key responsibilities include developing creative solutions for complex engineering problems, preparing design specifications, performing testing, and engaging with customers.

  • Develop creative solutions and reduce complexity for complex engineering problems

  • Perform Code Reviews and verifications of Design Specifications and Reports
  • Engage customers to define scope, review results, and discuss technical risks
  • Establish and follow work plans including time estimates and schedules
  • Provide clear and complete analysis documentation
  • Manage multiple priorities effectively
