Senior Frontend Software Engineer (Angular)

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer specializing in Angular to join their mission of electrifying and decarbonizing the world. This remote position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact in the energy sector while working with cutting-edge technologies.

The role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, where you'll lead a team of 5-7 developers while actively contributing to the codebase. You'll be working with Angular (preferably version 16+) and modern development tools including Docker and Kubernetes, implementing sophisticated frontend solutions for energy management systems.

As a senior engineer, you'll be responsible for architecting and developing software components, collaborating with Product Line Leaders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality code. The position requires expertise in frontend development, particularly with Angular, and experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or STEM field, coupled with advanced Angular experience. You should be comfortable working in both Windows and Unix/Linux environments and have experience with UI automation tools like Playwright. Knowledge of the energy sector, particularly in Energy Management, Oil & Gas, or Power & Water, would be advantageous.

This role offers the flexibility of remote work within Mexico, requiring fluency in both English and Spanish.
