Job Description

GE Vernova is seeking a Services Engineer for their Software Integration Team, focusing on implementing GE Vernova software across various environments for both internal and external customers. This role combines software engineering with power systems expertise, working on critical energy infrastructure systems including Energy Management Systems (EMS) and Distribution Management Systems (DMS).

The position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for work from home, office, and customer site visits. As a key team member, you'll be involved throughout the full project lifecycle from development to support, working with cutting-edge technology in the electrical energy sector.

The role requires expertise in power system applications, including power flow calculations, short-circuit analysis, state estimation, and various other critical power system functions. You'll be developing mathematical models, writing code for real-time applications, and working on system commissioning and optimization.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical background in power systems and software development to contribute to the future of energy management. Linux
  • Master's degree in Power Systems with 2-5 years of experience in PSA Domain
  • C/C++ programming skills
  • Knowledge of power systems phenomena and processes
  • Experience with Windows OS or UNIX OS
  • Fluent in English
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel
