Responsibilities For Director, Machine Learning Engineering
- Lead and mentor a team of machine learning engineers across geographies
- Own Machine Learning Engineering workstreams
- Lead the ML Engineering strategic design across products
- Innovate with different ML algorithms and architectures
- Set up best practices for production-ready ML code
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of ML models
- Work with Data Scientists to identify appropriate algorithms
- Collaborate with ML Operations and IX team
- Develop and maintain documentation for AI/ML capabilities
- Train and mentor team members and stakeholders
Requirements For Director, Machine Learning Engineering
- 8 years of experience in a machine learning or related role
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- Strong knowledge of AI/ML technologies such as deep learning, natural language processing
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, Julia, Java
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Keras, PySpark, H2O
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
