Mainframe Software Engineer I or Above

Global Payments is seeking a Mainframe Software Engineer to join their team in Columbus, GA. This role involves working throughout the software development lifecycle to create, design, code, debug, maintain, test, implement and validate applications using various languages and architectures, with a focus on mainframe technologies.

The position requires expertise in COBOL, IMS, and DB2, working in an Agile/Scrum environment. The engineer will participate in all phases of software development, from design to implementation, working on mission-critical payment processing systems that serve millions of users worldwide.

The role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a hybrid work model (2-3 days in office), contributing to the development and maintenance of complex financial software systems.
