AI Architect II, Go-To-Market Applied AI, Google Cloud

The Cloud Go-To-Market Applied AI team at Google is seeking an AI Architect II to join their internal AI innovation factory. This role is crucial in driving transformation within Google Cloud's Go-To-Market (GTM) organization by developing and implementing AI solutions that enhance business operations.

The position requires a blend of technical expertise in AI/ML and business acumen. You'll be responsible for designing and building AI-powered applications using Google's advanced AI stack, working directly with Sales, Operations, and Strategy teams to identify and solve high-value use cases. The role involves hands-on development with technologies like Generative AI, RAG, and function calling, while also requiring the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

As an AI Architect, you'll operate with significant autonomy, taking ownership of projects from conception to deployment. The role offers unique opportunities to work directly with model builders from Google DeepMind/Vertex and access to Global 1000 customers through Google Cloud relationships. You'll be part of a team that's transforming how enterprises connect with customers through AI technology.

The position offers competitive compensation including a base salary range of $149,000-$218,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. The role can be based in several locations including Mexico City, Chicago, Atlanta, Austin, Boulder, Addison, or Miami.

Key responsibilities include developing AI prototypes and applications, building scalable solutions for demand generation, measuring ROI of AI implementations, and applying cutting-edge techniques in agentic AI. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of relevant experience, strong technical skills in Python and SQL, and proven experience with Generative AI applications.
