Responsibilities For Audio Systems Engineer, Hearables

  • Collaborate with Product, Acoustic, Algorithm, and Software teams to define and develop hearable audio systems
  • Own tuning, evaluation and debugging of hearable audio algorithms, including Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), transparency, and playback
  • Be an expert in objective and subjective testing, develop tools, tuning strategies and automate methodologies
  • Validate and debug audio system software, coordinate on algorithm enhancements with developers

Requirements For Audio Systems Engineer, Hearables

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field
  • 2 years of experience working in consumer hardware technical environment, or 1 year with advanced degree
  • Experience with standard audio measurement and analysis tools (ACQUA, SoundCheck, Audio Precision, Audition, Matlab/Python)
  • Experience with hearable audio systems (acoustics, transducers, microphones, ANC, digital signal processing)
