As a Cloud Technical Solutions Developer, you will own important customer issues and provide support to other support teams. You'll be part of a global team that provides 24/7 support to help customers seamlessly make the switch to Google Cloud. When customers cannot resolve issues themselves, your job is to ensure that we have the necessary tools and processes to swiftly resolve the issue.
You will troubleshoot technical problems for customers with a mix of debugging, networking, system administration, updating documentation, and when needed, coding/scripting. Our Technical Solutions team is focused on customer needs, and you will help drive the success of Google Cloud by understanding and advocating for our customers' issues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working with customers on their production deployments to resolve issues and achieve product readiness, availability, and scale.
- Developing an in-depth understanding of Google Cloud's product technology and underlying architectures.
- Acting as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders.
- Working as part of a global team that ensures 24-hour customer support, which may include non-standard work hours/shifts and weekend work.
- Understanding customer issues and advocating for their needs with internal teams.
This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience, along with 4 years of relevant experience in coding, system design, and troubleshooting technical issues. Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required for this customer-facing role.

Requirements For Cloud Technical Solutions Developer, AI/ML
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
- 4 years of experience reading code in a general purpose coding language (e.g., Java, C, C++, Python, Shell, Go or JavaScript, etc.) or in system design
- 4 years of experience with 2 or more of the following: Web Tech, Data/Big Data, Systems Admin, Machine Learning, Networking, Kubernetes, Oracle, SAP
- 4 years of experience troubleshooting and advocating for customers' needs, and triaging technical issues
- Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently
