Description For Privacy Engineer, Software Fuchsia Privacy

Join Google's Fuchsia team as a Privacy Engineer to shape the future of a modern, open-source operating system. Responsibilities For Privacy Engineer, Software Fuchsia Privacy

  • Define and drive the completion of privacy requirements for Fuchsia platform and product launches
  • Conduct comprehensive privacy reviews and consults for new features and Fuchsia launches
  • Provide privacy guidance and support to engineering teams
  • Design and implement privacy-by-design for Fuchsia as a platform/OS
  • Develop and maintain privacy policies and procedures

Requirements For Privacy Engineer, Software Fuchsia Privacy

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience in privacy software development
  • Basic practical knowledge of developer tools (e.g., Shell, Git) and ability to read/understand code
  • Familiarity with Operating Systems at a technical level and privacy impacting considerations
  • Excellent systems thinking and analysis
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills
  • Strong user orientation in trust, safety, security, and privacy
