Product Engineer, Machine Learning Accelerators

Google's ML Supply Chain & Operations (MLSCO) team is seeking a Product Engineer to join their Machine Learning Accelerators division. This role sits at the intersection of hardware engineering and machine learning, focusing on the deployment of ML capacity in Google's Fleet. The position requires expertise in manufacturing, PCBA, and system assembly, with a strong emphasis on design for manufacturability.

The role involves leading technology assessments for new products, collaborating with Quality and Reliability Engineers, and managing cross-functional teams to resolve component and build quality issues. The successful candidate will work directly with Google's Technical Infrastructure team, contributing to the architecture that powers Google's extensive product portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of manufacturing experience, knowledge of PCBA and system assembly, and familiarity with SQL and Python. Experience with ODMs, contract manufacturers, and component suppliers for data center server accelerator products (GPU, FPGA, or ASIC) is highly valued.
