Description For Product Manager, Gen AI, BigQuery Migration Team

Google is seeking a Product Manager for their Gen AI BigQuery Migration Team to lead the development of AI-powered automation solutions for large-scale data workload migrations. This role sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence and data warehousing, focusing on BigQuery, Google's fully managed, AI-ready data analytics platform.

The ideal candidate will bring 5 years of product management experience, with specific expertise in AI/ML technologies and data warehousing solutions. You'll be responsible for guiding products from conception to launch, working closely with engineering, UX/UI, sales, and other stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that improve access to the world's information.

In this position, you'll play a crucial role in building automation for large-scale migration of workloads with minimal customer intervention, leveraging the power of Generative AI. You'll be responsible for proposing new services, building and launching them, and successfully scaling them alongside existing services in the portfolio.

The role offers an opportunity to work on products that affect millions of people daily, breaking down complex problems into actionable steps that drive product development.   • Work with partner teams during product design and development to implement requirements
  • Develop and secure buy-in for product direction
  • Write product direction, strategy, requirements, and roadmap
  • Drive launches, maintenance, and retirement in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Build the launch and GTM plans to scale the product

Requirements For Product Manager, Gen AI, BigQuery Migration Team

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role
  • 2 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within AI/ML
  • Experience building data warehousing solutions using Google Bigquery
  • Master's degree in technology or business related field (preferred)
  • 5 years of experience in enterprise product management (preferred)
  • 2 years of experience working cross-functionally
  • 2 years of experience in software development or engineering (preferred)
  • Experience with data warehousing, migration, and AI (preferred)
