Description For Product Manager, Google Arts and Culture

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Google Arts and Culture supports digital innovation in cultural access and preservation around the world. A key effort of Google Arts and Culture is to build a platform for institutions to bring their content online in a way that is easily accessible to broad audiences. The team combines tools and services designed to help institutions digitize existing materials in physical collections then store and share them online, creating new and innovative user experiences.

As a Product Manager for Google Arts and Culture, you will:

  • Own features alongside User Experience and Engineering managers from annual strategic summits to quarterly planning of milestones and drafting of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
  • Own the cycle of feature development, coordinating processes from ideation to launch.
  • Write product requirements documents to describe the developer experience and fulfill Arts and Culture goals.
  • Synthesize emerging trends and opportunities in digital storytelling and digital distribution in the context of product roadmap.
  • Build cross-functional relationships needed for the teams to succeed and represent Google Arts and Culture throughout the software development process.
