Google is seeking a Product Manager II for AI Inference on the Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) team. This role involves working on products that affect millions of people daily, guiding them from conception to launch by connecting technical and business aspects. The GKE AI team focuses on making GKE the best platform for running AI workloads.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams during product design and development
- Driving product launches, maintenance, and retirement
- Creating solutions to differentiate GKE for AI inference workloads
- Working with critical GKE customers to grow and diversify the AI customer base
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience in product management or related technical roles
- 2 years of experience in taking technical products from conception to launch
- Experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models, AI infrastructure, and related technologies
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Containers, and the Cloud Native ecosystem

Responsibilities For Product Manager II, AI Inference, Google Kubernetes Engine
- Work with partner teams (e.g., engineers, program managers, UX) during product design and development to implement the requirements to turn PRDs into OKRs for one or more teams
- Drive launches, maintenance, and retirement in collaboration with other cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Create solutions that differentiate GKE for serving AI inference workloads
- Work with GKE customers who are critically important to GKE AI business growth and to diversify GKE's AI customer base
Requirements For Product Manager II, AI Inference, Google Kubernetes Engine
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role
- 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch
- Experience with the domain area of Generative AI or Large Language Models
- Experience with artificial intelligence, Generative AI/Generative AI workloads, AI training, AI inference, AI infrastructure, ML Operations, NVIDIA GPUs, or TPUs
