As a Program Manager for Server Operations Logistics at Google, you will lead and manage all logistics operations required within the Google data center campuses. This includes overseeing receiving, shipping, quality control, rack movements, rack placement, tray assembly, cabling, spare parts management, decommissions, and returns at data center facilities. You'll work with third-party logistics partners on various projects including account management, spend controls, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), metrics management, escalation management, and facilitation. The role involves managing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), vendor performance scorecards, and developing business cases to support logistics changes or improvements. You'll be responsible for creating and managing significant services spend budgets, driving alignment and prioritization of initiatives in a fast-paced and large-scale environment, and creating, managing, and supporting cross-functional company initiatives. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience), 5 years of experience managing warehousing and supply chain operations, and 5 years of experience working with, supervising, and managing third party logistics relationships. The ideal candidate should be able to apply structured thinking and logic to work, provide innovative solutions to issues, and be willing to travel up to 30% of the time as required.
