As a Silicon AI/ML Lead Architect, you will be part of a team developing AI accelerators in data centers, with dynamic, multi-faceted responsibilities in areas such as project definition, design, and implementation. You will participate in the design, architecture, documentation, and implementation of the next generation of data center accelerators.
The Technical Infrastructure team at Google is responsible for building and maintaining the architecture that keeps everything running smoothly. From developing and maintaining data centers to building the next generation of Google platforms, this team makes Google's product portfolio possible. Key responsibilities include evaluating different silicon solutions for Google's data center AI accelerator roadmap, creating high-performance hardware/software interfaces, collaborating with various stakeholders, owning microarchitecture of compute-intensive IP and subsystems, and driving improvements in power, performance, and area for owned modules.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electrical engineering, extensive experience in micro-architecture and design of graphics or ML IPs, and expertise in ASIC architecture and development. Knowledge of SoC designs, experience working with software teams, and proficiency in programming languages like C++, Python, or Go are preferred.
