Job Description

Google is seeking an Early Career Software Engineer to join their Chrome team, which is dedicated to building a better, more open web. Chrome is available across all major platforms including iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Linux and Chrome OS. As an open source project, Chrome aims to help the entire web ecosystem benefit from innovations in speed, simplicity and security.

As a Software Engineer on the Chrome team, you'll be responsible for writing code, participating in design reviews, reviewing other developers' code, contributing to documentation, and troubleshooting system issues. You'll work with cutting-edge web technologies while helping to shape the future of browser technology.

The ideal candidate should have programming experience in languages like Python, C++, Java, or JavaScript. While a Bachelor's degree is required, candidates with advanced degrees in Computer Science are preferred.
