Description For Software Engineer, Early Career, Chrome

Google is seeking an Early Career Software Engineer to join their Chrome team, which is dedicated to building a better, more open web. Chrome is available across all major platforms including iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Linux and Chrome OS. As an open source project, Chrome aims to help the entire web ecosystem benefit from innovations in speed, simplicity and security.

The role involves developing next-generation technologies that impact billions of users' web experiences. You'll work on critical projects with opportunities for growth as the business evolves. The position requires versatility and leadership qualities to tackle problems across the full technology stack.

As a Software Engineer on the Chrome team, you'll be responsible for writing code, participating in design reviews, reviewing other developers' code, contributing to documentation, and troubleshooting system issues. You'll work with cutting-edge web technologies while helping to shape the future of browser technology.

The ideal candidate should have programming experience in languages like Python, C++, Java, or JavaScript. While a Bachelor's degree is required, candidates with advanced degrees in Computer Science are preferred. This role offers the opportunity to work on technology that impacts users globally while being part of Google's innovative engineering culture.

This position is based in Mexico City and requires Mexican citizenship in compliance with local labor laws. The role offers the chance to work on one of the world's most widely-used browsers while collaborating with top engineering talent at Google.
