Google's gTech Ads team is seeking a Solutions Architect to join their Large Customer Sales division. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, focusing on supporting and optimizing Google's advertising products. The Solutions Architect will work closely with Google's largest advertisers, developing and delivering technical consulting projects and solutions using Google's advertising platforms.

The role sits within gTech Ads, which is responsible for support and technical services across Google's entire Ad products stack. The team helps customers maximize their use of Ad and Publisher products through various support channels, from self-help to complex technical implementations. They provide customized solutions for individual clients while also developing scalable support systems for millions of customers worldwide.

As a Solutions Architect, you'll be at the intersection of technology and business, translating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. You'll need strong coding abilities in Java or Python, SQL knowledge, and deep understanding of digital advertising technologies. The role requires excellent problem-solving and communication skills, as you'll be working with both internal teams and external clients to develop solutions that drive business growth.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience as a Solutions Consultant for digital advertising products
  • Experience influencing stakeholders
  • Experience with the advertisement serving industry and internet technologies
  • Experience in an online advertising role
  • Ability to code with Java or Python and construct SQL queries
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent problem-solving, management and communication skills
