Description For System Technical Program Management, Project Starline

As a System Technical Program Manager for Project Starline at Google, you'll support an innovative engineering team working on advanced communication technology. Project Starline combines hardware and software to enable life-size, three-dimensional communication between people in different locations. You'll coordinate with engineers, product managers, and partners to build, test, and release high-quality products on time. Responsibilities For System Technical Program Management, Project Starline

  • Manage Starline development NPIs and drive the overall tactical execution and strategy of the team
  • Lead cross-functional teams to implement solutions based on overall development risks/issues to meet system build milestones, cost, and manufacturability
  • Drive product development processes and phase gate reviews with cross-functional teams
  • Develop and manage program schedules and resource needs with engineering and operations teams
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders and leadership and lead resolution on key technical issues

Requirements For System Technical Program Management, Project Starline

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in program management
  • 5 years of experience as a systems technical program manager
