The Google Cloud Platform team helps customers transform and build what's next for their business — all with technology built in the cloud. As a Technical Solutions Engineer II in Networking for Google Cloud, you will manage customer issues and provide level two support to other Support teams. You will troubleshoot technical issues for customers with a mix of debugging, networking, system administration, documentation updating, and coding/scripting. Your role involves making Google Cloud products easier to adopt and use by improving the product, tools, processes, and documentation. You will help drive business growth by recognizing and advocating for customer issues.
Key responsibilities include managing customer issues through accurate diagnosis and resolution, developing knowledge of Google's product technology and architectures, acting as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders, understanding and advocating for customer needs, and working as part of a global team to ensure 24-hour customer support.
To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, 6 years of experience in coding, system design, troubleshooting, and working with various technologies like Web Tech, Data/Big Data, Systems Admin, Machine Learning, Networking, Kubernetes, Oracle, or SAP. Fluency in English is required for client relationship management.
