Description For Workspace Engineer

Google Cloud is seeking a Workspace Engineer to join their team in delivering professional services for Google Workspace deployments. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, focusing on helping organizations modernize their collaboration and productivity tools.

As a Workspace Engineer, you'll work directly with enterprise customers to design and implement Google Workspace solutions, providing technical guidance and best practices for successful deployment and adoption. You'll serve as a subject matter expert for both customers and partners, advising on reference architectures and ensuring scalability and supportability of solutions.

The role requires strong technical skills in cloud technologies, particularly in Google Workspace administration, along with excellent communication abilities to work with various stakeholders. You'll be part of Google Cloud's mission to accelerate digital transformation across industries, working with cutting-edge technology and tools.

Key aspects of the role include technical architecture design, troubleshooting complex challenges, implementing Workspace services, and collaborating with Engineering and Product teams to enhance solutions. Responsibilities For Workspace Engineer

  • Work with customers to design technical architectures, migration approaches and application optimizations, and help in deploying Google Workspace
  • Serve as a technical advisor and perform troubleshooting to resolve technical challenges for customers
  • Implement and/or advise customer leadership teams in deploying and managing Google Workspace services
  • Liaise with the Engineering and Product teams to commercialize solutions with partners and customers
  • Work with Google's partners to develop their capabilities in managing Workspace services for their customers

Requirements For Workspace Engineer

Java
Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience in software engineering
  • 2 years of experience in one or more languages such as Java, Python, Terraform, or similar
  • 2 years of experience in deploying workspace or similar technologies for customers
  • Experience in deploying or managing Cloud productivity solutions at enterprise level
