Growth Engineer

Grafana Labs is seeking a Growth Engineer to join their Self-Serve Growth team. This role focuses on driving adoption of Grafana Cloud by lowering the barrier-to-entry for those wishing to get started with observability. The ideal candidate will be part of a growing team hyper-focused on the self-service go-to-market strategy, spanning user acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing, releasing, and maintaining Grafana plugins using TypeScript and React.js
• Ideating, designing, and developing A/B and multivariate tests to drive business outcomes
• Developing and maintaining accurate product data flows across the full stack
• Collaborating with design, analytics, and other product teams to improve user outcomes
• Partnering with upstream engineering teams to deliver value to customers
• Influencing the product roadmap and personal career objectives

The role requires:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in on-platform growth and experimentation
• Expertise with single-page apps connecting to REST/APIs services
• Proficiency in TypeScript, ES6+, and modern CSS
• Strong data-driven approach with openness to qualitative feedback
• Excellent writing and presentation skills
• Genuine interest in driving business outcomes through product development
• Familiarity with applying a growth mindset to various aspects of work
• Strong product management skills, including spec writing, mockups, and data analysis
• Experience in delivering projects from requirements gathering to shipping

Advantages include experience with the LGTM stack, background in growth engineering/marketing, experience with Big Query / Rudderstack, state management libraries for React.js, and prior SRE experience.
