Responsibilities For Staff Engineer – Conversational AI
- Build new end-user features leveraging LLMs via AWS Bedrock, prompt engineering, and RAG patterns
- Lead architectural planning for scalable AI-backed systems and APIs
- Translate product ideas into working prototypes quickly
- Partner with Product, Design, and Support teams
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers
- Contribute to system reliability through monitoring and on-call support
Requirements For Staff Engineer – Conversational AI
- 7+ years of software engineering experience building complex, user-facing products
- Experience building and deploying LLM-powered features using services like AWS Bedrock, OpenAI
- Familiarity with RAG, vector databases, and embedding techniques
- Strong backend experience (Ruby on Rails preferred) and API design
- Strong product sense and track record of building features from 0 to 1
- Experience mentoring engineers and driving cross-functional technical initiatives
