Every successful startup has a short window where the company's revenue is growing hand-over-fist and the team is still small - that's where we are right now. In simple terms, we're acquiring new customers and revenue faster than our 2-person engineering team can handle and the environment is very fast paced. If you're hoping to start a startup yourself one day, joining Hadrius will give you invaluable insights into what success looks like and the work needed to make it happen.
Hadrius consolidates and automates regulatory compliance for financial firms of all sizes (fintechs, investment advisors, funds, broker dealers, and more) through our AI-powered platform. Our space has been underserved with a lack of innovation for decades and we have a unique opportunity to disrupt it with the advent of LLMs.
Today, we're securing compliance for $250B+ AUM across our 100+ clients. Our founding team has deep engineering and domain expertise from Google, hedge funds, and previous startup exits. Before Hadrius, we ran our own SEC regulated RIA with thousands of clients where we first built the powerful compliance engine behind Hadrius.
This isn't our first rodeo, and our customers know it - we're backed by Y Combinator, Lynett Capital, Singularity Capital, and (naturally) our customers. Since inception, we've continued to grow rapidly, doubling our revenue every few months.
This is a full-time role as a Founding Engineer at Hadrius, located in New York, NY. As a Founding Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the core functionalities of the Hadrius platform, from the simplest aspects (CRUD functionality, centering a div) to the more exciting and complex (building distributed systems and robust AI workflows).
You will work directly with the founding team to design and build the future of financial compliance - learning about and wearing every hat. We pride ourselves on having a hands off culture by having very few meetings and giving engineers a broad scope of responsibility. We're focused first and foremost on empowering each other to do our best work, today and into the future. You'll be on a team that works incredibly hard and seeks other exceptional people excited to do the same.
We take our work seriously but always find time to share a laugh and get to know each other on a personal level. Our main office is in New York City on Wall Street where you'll be working a few days a week. We will frequently get together - either in NYC, or SF, or at a week-long Airbnb in some cool location, to work together in-person 3-5 times a year.
