Responsibilities For Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for iOS applications, backend services (Golang), and integrated AI systems (Python)
- Design comprehensive test strategies, including integration, regression, performance, and scalability tests
- Automate testing of AI models and API interactions
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to embed automated testing throughout the software development lifecycle
- Identify, document, and track bugs
- Implement continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- Continuously improve testing practices, tools, and methodologies
Requirements For Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
- 4+ years of experience as an SDET or automation-focused QA Engineer
- Proven experience building and maintaining automation frameworks for mobile (iOS) and backend systems
- Hands-on experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Strong scripting and programming skills (Python, Golang, or TypeScript preferred)
- Experience with AI technologies, particularly around testing, evaluation, and monitoring of Generative AI models
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform
- Startup mindset: Comfortable with ambiguity, iterative development, and wearing multiple hats when needed
