Responsibilities For Staff Machine Learning Engineer, Growth
- Lead end-to-end development of production-grade ML systems
- Define and own technical roadmap for ML within product area
- Collaborate with ML Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product Managers
- Design for availability, scalability, and operational excellence
- Mentor and educate ML Engineers on current and emerging technologies
- Ensure ethical and responsible use of ML/AI and compliance with privacy regulations
- Communicate effectively to various technical and non-technical audiences
Requirements For Staff Machine Learning Engineer, Growth
- Strong programming skills in Python and ML libraries like PyTorch
- Deep understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and emerging AI technologies
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Strong background in ML infrastructure, containerization, and CI/CD workflows
- 5+ years of experience as an MLE, with 2+ years in senior/staff-level role
- 3+ years experience designing production-grade ML systems
- 4+ years experience working in cloud environments
- 3+ years of experience leading projects
- Degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
