Developer Engineer- Core Banking

ING Hubs Romania is seeking a Developer Engineer for their Core Banking domain, focusing on the Italy implementation project. This role is central to the bank's operations, working on the back-office fulfillment engine that manages core banking products including savings, current accounts, deposits, payments, and investment products.

The position is based in Bucharest and is part of a dynamic organization that provides 130 services in software development, data management, and other areas to 24 ING units worldwide. With over 2000 professionals, ING Hubs Romania has grown since 2015 from a software development hub to a comprehensive service provider operating from both Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca locations.

As a Developer Engineer, you'll be responsible for implementing core banking solutions, working closely with business analysts and architects to influence design decisions. The role requires a strong technical background in Java, SQL, and Kafka, combined with an understanding of banking processes. You'll be working in an Agile environment, participating in SCRUM ceremonies, and handling both development and production support responsibilities.

The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of programming experience, strong DevOps knowledge, and experience with various development tools and technologies.
