Software Engineer - Intern

Instawork, a leading digital marketplace connecting local businesses with skilled hourly professionals, is seeking engineering interns for July-Dec 2024. As an intern, you'll be an integral part of the product development team, creating features to scale and improve our flexible staffing platform. You'll receive mentorship to enhance your software engineering skills and learn to work productively in a cross-functional team. The 5-month internship culminates in a portfolio-worthy capstone project presentation.

You'll work across the stack, from backend systems at scale to frontend user experiences, collaborating with Product & Business teams to create meaningful products. Instawork values bold action, embracing and celebrating failure as part of the innovation process.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a CS degree, has completed relevant coursework, and has experience with Python, Ruby, or JS for backend and HTML/CSS/JS for frontend. You should be able to work in Bangalore and be open to a hybrid work model (2 days/week in office).
