Description For Senior Foundry Applications Engineer (Analog Design)

Intel Foundry Services is seeking a Senior Foundry Applications Engineer specializing in Analog Design to join their growing team. This role sits at the intersection of advanced semiconductor technology and customer success, working with Intel's cutting-edge foundry offerings.

The position involves providing technical support to Intel Foundry Services customers on PDKs, collaborating across multiple teams, and ensuring successful customer tape-outs. You'll be working with advanced CMOS processes (16nm and below) and will need expertise in analog/mixed-signal design and layout.

As a Senior Foundry Applications Engineer, you'll be responsible for creating technical documentation, delivering training, and resolving complex design and layout issues. The role requires a strong background in scripting languages like Python and hands-on experience with analog tools and flows.

Intel offers an industry-leading compensation package, including competitive base salary ranging from $161,230 to $227,620, plus stock options, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits. The position requires working on-site and US citizenship with the ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders on AMS design and layout issue resolution
  • Create content, application notes and deliver technical training/presentations
  • Drive quality of design kits and documentation
  • Support Tool/Flow/Methodology on customer issues
  • Assist in tearing down barriers to successful customer design tape-outs

Requirements For Senior Foundry Applications Engineer (Analog Design)

  • Hands-on experience in Custom/Analog Mixed Signal design/layout
