Intuit is seeking an experienced Enterprise Security and Compliance Engineer to design, architect, and guide the implementation of rapidly expanding identity and security capabilities. As a Principal Security Engineer, you'll be part of a talented team of highly experienced engineers in the enterprise security team, demonstrating superb technical competency and delivering critical security controls.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing engineering and architectural leadership across interdependent teams, systems, and offerings
- Partnering with AI/Data Science teams and innovative 3rd party vendors to improve and deliver an intelligent enterprise security and compliance platform
- Determining security, fraud prevention, privacy, and technical compliance requirements
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation and communicating cybersecurity risks
- Recommending development and security best practices
- Designing and implementing high-quality risk management processes
- Ensuring effective incident response processes
- Performing hands-on coding and data analysis (20-40% of the role)
- Staying current with mobile/SaaS/PaaS trends and security standards
- Developing end-to-end designs using best practices and patterns
- Acting as a subject-matter expert in AWS security and access, with awareness of other cloud platforms
The ideal candidate will have:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of experience designing and leading architectural efforts for web-based applications and backend services
- Strong development experience in languages like Java and Python
- Knowledge of identity and security solutions, protocols, and cloud security
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment
