Staff Software Developer

Intuit is seeking a Staff Software Developer to join their Toronto site as a tech leader in the VEP team. This role involves building a cross-Intuit platform that empowers experts to deliver exceptional services by consolidating service-call-related tasks and operational management into one seamless experience.

The ideal candidate will have significant industry experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, and full-stack cloud development. They should demonstrate deep understanding of current technology trends and best practices, while holding the team accountable for high-quality designs through periodic reviews.

Key responsibilities include:

• Driving end-to-end technology initiatives across multiple architecture layers
• Architecting and developing scalable applications and systems
• Implementing durable software solutions for critical customer problems
• Providing best practices recommendations for development

Required qualifications:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 7+ years delivering enterprise applications
• Strong foundation in scalable application development
• Expertise in JavaScript, Java, and cloud technologies
• Experience with test automation and CI/CD
• Knowledge of database design and analytics
• Proven track record with microservices and container technologies
