Responsibilities For HVAC Truck Based Service Controls Engineer

  • Design, configure and service complex building control systems
  • Create flow diagrams, sequence of operations, and network layouts
  • Develop and test software programs for system operation
  • Coordinate and create drawings and equipment schedules
  • Assist in loading and commissioning system controllers
  • Provide field change information for as-built documentation
  • Perform site-specific training for system operators
  • Participate in coordination meetings with sales and service operations
  • Provide work direction to Service Controls Technicians

Requirements For HVAC Truck Based Service Controls Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering and/or minimum 8 years experience
  • Knowledge of construction or service, or HVAC industry
  • Knowledge of control theory and building automation systems
  • Experience in integration of low voltage building sub-systems
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly computer-related drafting tools
  • Ability to relate technical knowledge to non-technical audience
