Job Description

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to join their Enterprise technology, risk technology team. As a Lead SRE, you'll hold a leadership position within your team, showcasing deep knowledge across multiple technical domains while mentoring others through technical and business challenges. The role requires expertise in site reliability engineering with 5+ years of experience, deep proficiency in system architecture, and fluency in programming languages like Python or Java.   • Demonstrates and champions site reliability culture and practices and exerts technical influence throughout your team
  • Leads initiatives to improve the reliability and stability of your team's applications and platforms using data-driven analytics

Requirements For Lead Site Reliability Engineer

  • Formal training or certification on site reliability engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience
  • Deep proficiency in reliability, scalability, performance, security, and enterprise system architecture
  • Fluency in at least one programming language (Python, Java Spring Boot, .Net)
  • Deep knowledge of software applications and technical processes
  • Proficiency in observability tools (Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk)
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform)
  • Experience with container and container orchestration (ECS, Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Experience with troubleshooting common networking technologies
