Lead Software Engineer - SRE

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Software Engineer - SRE role at JPMorgan Chase within Consumer & Community Banking. As a seasoned member of an agile team, you'll design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You'll be responsible for implementing critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions.

The role focuses on DevOps/FinOps responsibilities, maximizing the value of cloud agnostic solutions, enabling data-driven decision-making, and managing CI/CD pipelines. You'll collaborate with world-class developers, QA, application owners, engineers, architects, finance, and business teams to create financial accountability and drive innovation.

You'll influence the design, development, testing, and deployment of exciting applications and cloud-native microservices, transforming business processes and user experience for JPM's Customer Acquisition and Marketing Platform. The position requires expertise in AWS cloud services, database technologies, and modern software development practices.

Key technical areas include working with AWS services (EMR, Glue, Lambda, MSK, RDS, Document DB, EC2, EKS), various database technologies (Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB, Cassandra, Elasticsearch), and data processing frameworks (Spark, Flink, Storm). You'll be involved in implementing cloud-agnostic solutions with multi-region active/active designs.
