Security Engineer III -Network Security Engineer, Java

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Security Engineer III to join their Cybersecurity & Tech controls team. This role combines software engineering with security expertise, focusing on developing and maintaining secure applications and infrastructure.

As a Security Engineer III, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing security solutions that protect one of the world's largest financial institutions. You'll work on creating tamper-proof, audit-defensible methods across multiple technical areas while supporting the firm's business objectives.

The role requires strong Java development skills combined with security engineering expertise. You'll be working with modern technologies including Spring Boot, microservices, and both SQL and NoSQL databases. You'll be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to production deployment and support.
