Electrical/Software Engineer

KBR is seeking an experienced Electrical or Software Engineer to join their team working on an emerging Department of Defense (DoD) system. This role is part of an exciting Army Program where the engineer will be responsible for reviewing detailed technical drawings, specifications, OEM technical data, test plans/reports, and Software Requirement Documents. The ideal candidate should be comfortable presenting analyses in briefing format and have experience supporting Army or DoD customers.

The position is based in Huntsville, Alabama, and requires a BS degree in Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering. The role involves working with missile defense and mobile ground systems, requiring strong technical documentation skills and understanding of DoD Systems Engineering processes. The preferred candidate should have 5+ years of missile defense experience and be familiar with JIRA ticketing systems.
