Senior MBSE Systems Engineer

KBR is seeking a Senior Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) Systems Engineer to join their National Security Solutions team in support of the United States Space Force (USSF). This role offers an opportunity to work on innovative projects at the forefront of engineering and space defense systems.

The position is based at Los Angeles Space Force Base in El Segundo, CA, working with the Space Systems Command (SSC) Space Systems Integration Office (SSIO). The role focuses on developing government reference and portfolio level architectures aligned with future USSF force design, enabling enterprise-level interoperability and flexibility.

As a Senior MBSE Systems Engineer, you'll be responsible for providing systems engineering expertise, working directly with SSC personnel to address current threat environments for National Security Space customers. The role requires extensive experience with Digital Engineering and MBSE to support USSF's objective of becoming the first "digital force."

Key responsibilities include developing end-to-end mission architecture systems, conducting IPTs and Working Groups, understanding adversarial threats, and facilitating system-of-systems integration. You'll be instrumental in developing and maintaining mission architecture requirements and creating enterprise solutions that optimize efficiency across multiple mission areas.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of aerospace or engineering experience, with 7+ years specifically in MBSE tools. A BS in engineering or computer science is required, with a Master's degree preferred. The role requires active TS/SCI clearance and strong communication skills.
