Software Engineering Lead: High Frequency Trading (HFT)

Keyrock, a leader in algorithmic trading in digital assets, is seeking a Software Engineering Lead for High Frequency Trading (HFT). This role requires extensive HFT options trading experience and proficiency in Rust, Node.js, and Python. The ideal candidate should have 7+ years of experience in High Frequency Options Trading systems and be willing to become an expert in Rust if not already proficient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Options HFT engineering team (currently 7 engineers)
• Drive continuous improvements and support trading infrastructure
• Design and implement pragmatic solutions for complex problems

Required Skills:

• Expert in High Frequency Options Trading systems
• Strong experience with Rust and/or C/C++
• Excellent understanding of algorithmic option trading
• Experience with SQL databases and functional/component testing
• Familiarity with crypto exchange connectivity and FPGA technologies (preferred)
• Knowledge of gRPC and interaction with Node.js (strongly preferred)

• Effective communication skills, especially in unfamiliar contexts
