Sr. Fullstack Engineer I, Product

Khan Academy is seeking a Sr. Fullstack Engineer I, Product to join their team. This role focuses on building world-class product experiences for an interactive web-app, with responsibilities including:

• Integrating state-of-the-art learning science into the product to address learning gaps
• Partnering with public school districts to scale teacher and learner tools
• Building tools for teachers to use Khan Academy as a strategic supplement in classrooms
• Harnessing the power of AI to deliver product capabilities

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years experience building world-class product experiences
• Strong technical project management skills
• Experience with complex, scalable backend services and stateful frontend interfaces
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Strong communication skills and desire to give/receive feedback
• Motivation aligned with Khan Academy's mission
• Cross-cultural competency and empathy for learners worldwide

Tech stack includes Go, GraphQL, JavaScript, React & React Native, Redux, and LLMs. Experience with Generative AI/LLMs and building accessible user interfaces is a plus.
