We are seeking an experienced Backend Kotlin Developer to join our team at Kody. This is a remote position based in London, UK. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in backend development using Kotlin/Java and should be well-versed in modern development practices. The role requires expertise in SQL databases (preferably PostgreSQL), API development with a focus on gRPC, and strong experience with Git version control and CI/CD practices using GitHub Actions. The successful candidate will work with unit testing frameworks and follow agile methodologies. This position requires candidates to have the right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship. Requirements For Backend Kotlin Developer
- At least 5 years of experience in backend Kotlin/Java software development
- Familiarity with SQL databases such as Postgres or MySQL
- Good understanding of APIs: REST or gRPC
- Strong familiarity with Git version control (GitHub)
- Experience with cloud computing and deployment with CI/CD (GitHub Actions)
- Experience working with unit testing frameworks
- Knowledge of agile development practices and methodologies
- Must be based in the UK with full right to work (no visa sponsorship)
