Description For Machine Learning Engineer - Customer Facing

As a Customer-Facing Machine Learning Engineer, you'll work directly with enterprise customers to leverage Lamini platform to develop and deploy LLM solutions that drive business value. This role blends technical expertise, customer collaboration, and problem-solving to ensure customers achieve maximum benefit from our platform. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our engineering team and customers, providing technical support, gathering feedback, and leading implementation efforts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the primary technical advisor for prospective customers evaluating LLM and finetuning projects on Lamini platform
  • Partnering closely with account executives to understand customer requirements
  • Driving technical decision making and advising on optimal setup and architecture
  • Supporting customer onboarding and serving as an ongoing technical advisor
  • Occasional travel to customer sites for workshops and implementation support

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 3+ years of experience training or finetuning deep learning models
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role
  • Strong technical aptitude and proficiency in software engineering
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A love for teaching, mentoring, and helping others succeed

Requirements For Machine Learning Engineer - Customer Facing

  • 3+ years of experience training or finetuning deep learning models
  • 2+ years of experience as a Customer Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Platform Engineer
  • Strong technical aptitude to partner with engineers and proficiency in software engineering
  • Ability to navigate and execute amidst ambiguity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Love of teaching, mentoring, and helping others succeed
