Senior Analytics Engineer

Lendable, a leading UK fintech unicorn valued at over $1 billion, is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join their team of 500+ professionals. The Senior Analytics Engineer will play a crucial role in overseeing the data architecture for Lendable's UK loans business - their original and most established product line. This position is fundamental to maintaining and evolving the data foundations that support one of their most mature and commercially significant offerings. The role involves taking ownership of data models that underpin credit decisioning, pricing, portfolio performance, and investor reporting.

Working in a hybrid environment from their Shoreditch office in London, you'll collaborate with analysts, stakeholders, backend engineers, and product teams to continuously improve their Data Warehouse. The position offers the opportunity to influence the broader analytics function by mentoring analysts and shaping analytical workflows across the organization.

The ideal candidate should possess strong proficiency in data modeling, extensive experience with ELT and DBT, and expertise in Snowflake or similar data warehouses. You'll need to balance technical expertise with strong communication skills, as you'll be translating business requirements into technical solutions and mentoring non-technical colleagues.
