LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to join their Blue-Sky software development team, focusing on regulatory and compliance services within the US Mutual Fund space. This role is integral to maintaining and enhancing our cloud-based SAAS product, Blue Sky Solutions. The position requires full-stack development skills, with emphasis on Angular frontend and Web API backend development.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving design and implementation of applications while improving our SDLC. Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineer II
- Participate and contribute to scrum ceremonies and work with Atlassian suite
- Advocate for quality and performance alongside engineering and business stakeholders
- Support team to define and leverage existing frameworks in a CI/CD environment
- Implement standards, patterns and advocate best practices
- Support team members and contribute to software designs/architecture
- Assist with internal app designs around API and data architecture
- Maintain and build new features for cloud-based SAAS product Blue Sky Solutions
Requirements For Senior Software Engineer II
- Excellent knowledge of .net/core, C#, Entity Framework/Core, MS SQL with Angular
- Experience in Cloud based architectures preferably AWS
- Strong backend development experience including SQL proficiency
- Experience with performance optimization in business and data layers
- Experience with data intensive applications and Git
- Strong knowledge of unit and integration testing
- Experience working in agile/scrum environment
- Strong understanding of software development process and agile methodologies
