Description For NOC Engineer II

As a NOC Engineer II at LivePerson, you'll join a digital revolution and work on one of the biggest OpenStack cloud services in the world. The Network Operations Center (NOC) is responsible for monitoring LivePerson services across 6 data centers worldwide, managing ~6K servers that serve ~10K customers with millions of visitors and thousands of real-time engagements.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring LivePerson services and servers, handling incidents quickly and professionally
  • Triggering operational procedures for various types of production incidents
  • Troubleshooting production incidents
  • Managing internal incident notifications
  • Interacting with the LivePerson Support division
  • Actively participating in customer-affecting incidents

Requirements:

  • At least one year of experience in a similar role (1.5-2 years is a big advantage)
  • Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills in English
  • Multitasking skills and ability to handle stressful situations
  • GCP background / experience operating in a Linux environment
  • Familiarity with networking concepts
