Manulife, a leading international financial services provider, is seeking an Associate Infrastructure Reliability Engineer to join their GOCC Cloud Operations team at MBPS. This role is integral to maintaining Manulife's 24/7/365 infrastructure and IT services operations.

The position involves monitoring and troubleshooting infrastructure components both on-premises and in the cloud, providing first-level support for IaaS and PaaS components, and working closely with DevOps and Application teams. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in production environment support, strong knowledge of incident management, and DevOps experience.

Responsibilities For Associate Infrastructure Reliability Engineer, Global Operations Command Center (GOCC)

  • Monitoring infrastructure components on-premises and in the cloud
  • Troubleshoot system operating problems and determine cause of system interruptions
  • Provide 1st Level support for infrastructure including IaaS and PaaS components
  • Perform system checks and basic maintenance plans
  • Assist Infrastructure/DevOps/Application Teams in monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Assist in the coordination and resolution of incidents

Requirements For Associate Infrastructure Reliability Engineer, Global Operations Command Center (GOCC)

Linux
  • 1-3 years experience supporting applications in production environments on Linux or Windows
  • Knowledge in Incident Management and Problem Management
  • Experience in DevOps organizations
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Willing to work in any shift (mid/night/rotating)
  • Flexible to work on holidays/weekends as needed
  • Professional with good communication skills
